Artist: Lynn Raines

Noticing that the area between the spiral staircase and the entrance to the spider web was becoming congested during field trips, SPARK! called on Lynn Raines to develop and installation that would slow them down, and engage them at the same time. Lynn came up with the idea of an interactive car wash 24 feet off the ground. Lynn Raines repurposed a 1985 Jaguar and added elements such as a giant rotating bristle brush, license plates, a stop light and blower to make this car wash installation come to life. Don’t forget to look inside at the engine block! You’ll find a mass of mini figurines, including minions.
