Take part in the creative camps offered throughout the year with SPARK! Dallas Pop-Up Camps. These camps are usually scheduled during school breaks, and additional dates are added upon request. As a gesture of gratitude, the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture has covered fees for the first 20 registrants from select DISD Arts schools who commit to attending all camp days. They get to attend the camp for free!
For all other registrants, the cost is just $70 per day. This includes art materials, specialty instruction, one daily snack, and open play time. Check out the details below for more information.
Our primary goal is to ignite the SPARK of creativity inherent in all children. Our second goal is to present solid techniques in a wide variety of materials that develop both skills and spark creative, outside-the-box problem-solving. We also aim to address every student’s individual needs and learning styles. Campers will return home with several original pieces of their art. See below for more details!
At this time, camps are only available for ages 11 to 13.
Pop-Up Day Camp Dates:
February (Presidents’ Day) – 19th
March (Spring Break) – 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th
March (School Break) – 29th
June (Summer Break) – 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th
More dates are added throughout the year, typically on or around holiday breaks.
Pop-Up Camp Times:
Camps are free for the first 20 students from select DISD Arts Schools who register and fully commit to all camp days. Once those spots have been filled, camps are $70 per day per child or $350 per week. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for $5 extra per child per time slot.
Yes, we offer both Early Drop-off and Late Pick-up for $5 each per child. Early Drop-Off begins at 8 AM, and Late Pick-Up after 5 PM.
We provide one snack per day per camper, and each camper will need to bring a lunch on each day of camp they are attending.
We have a refrigerator and microwave on site, and our instructors can assist your camper(s) in using them.
Dietary restrictions can be listed in the registration form, and you are more than welcome to pack snacks to accommodate these restrictions if desired.
Meals are not permitted to be purchased on-site unless they are bought prior to checking in.
We will not permit meals to be purchased on-site after check-in. If there are items in the gift shop, they are more than welcome to buy items before they are picked up.
