as Director of Programs

SPARK! Dallas is excited to announce the addition of Amy Pagan as the new Director of Programs.

As part of the senior management team, Pagan will drive the overall programming strategy for the organization and represent SPARK! throughout the community.

“Within the first few days of onboarding, Amy has already created partnerships in our community and made strides for continued creative growth,” says Bittner. “We are so glad to have her energetic power on our team.”

For her leadership in bringing the community together through the arts during the pandemic, Pagan was named Artist of the Year by ArtCentre Plano. She is the executive director of AmyPaganArts, providing team-building, community engagement, and stress relief through art, with a record-setting 123,000 students per class. She is an active member of the Collaborative Arts of Plano and is a part of the creative team behind Chole Mae Studio. Pagan is a graduate of the Business Council for the Arts Leadership Arts. She is also a graduate of Leadership Plano class #38, where she was co-leader of the class project for the Juvenile Justice Center of Collin County, providing art supplies, books, and sporting equipment to incarcerated children. Pagan previously worked for the City of Plano, where she transformed their event programming from live to virtual overnight, providing vital outreach to the community during the pandemic. She created a video marketing campaign that resulted in a “Best Promotional Event” award for the city from the Texas Downtown Association. She is the former Marketing manager of the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pagan is also a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.
