Exploring Dallas Through Art
Introducing a first-of-its-kind public art exhibit that celebrates the unique neighborhoods of Dallas through the lens of local artists.
The Vision
SPARK! City is designed to showcase the rich history, people, art, and culture of six vibrant neighborhoods. We are freeing art from traditional gallery walls and placing it in the hands of the community.
Each room will fully immerse guests in the energy and essence of a specific neighborhood, brought to life through original works by local artists across a variety of mediums.
Exhibit Dates: Friday, May 29th – Sunday, August 2nd, 2026
Call for Artist Proposals
We are seeking proposals for installations representing the unique character of:
- Downtown & Uptown
- Oak Cliff / Bishop Arts
- The Cedars
- Vickery Meadow / Northeast Dallas
- Deep Ellum
- Lakewood
Artist Opportunities & Benefits
Are you a local artist ready to help us celebrate the creative heartbeat of Dallas? We want to see your vision! Beyond the chance to be part of a landmark exhibit, selected artists will receive:

Artist Fee & Stipend: This is a paid opportunity. Selected artists will receive a fee for their participation. Final amounts will be discussed during the selection process.

Exposure: Your work will be showcased from May 29th through August 2nd.

Retail Opportunity: Artists will have the unique opportunity to sell original work during the event, allowing you to connect your creativity directly with the community and local collectors.
