SPARK! workshops include all the steps your troop needs to earn their badge, plus admission to our creative playground. Each workshop includes an instructor, all supplies an admission for one adult for every ten children. Access to our lunchroom is available for an additional $75 fee.

Daisy Art & Design Badge

When you’ve earned this badge, you’ll know how makers create art and designs.
Cost: $400 for the first 35 troop members. $12 for every additional troop member
One adult chaperone is required for every 10 children, and is included in the base cost.

Brownie Design with Nature Badge
1. Calculate the age of a natural object
2. Explore the shape of beehives
3. Measure and build a bird feeder
4. Use ratios to make bird food
5. Graph data about birds
When you've earned this badge, you'll know about bees, butterflies, birds, and other
natural objects. You'll know how to calculate the age of natural objects, use scale and
ratios, measure, and make a graph.

Brownie Painting Badge
1. Get inspired by learning about famous female artist
2. Paint a self-portrait
3. Learn about the relationship between colors and mood
4. Paint without brushes
5. Paint/assemble a mural

Junior Drawing Badge
1. Draw a still life three different ways with different materials.
2. Learn how to make shadows through smudging.
3. Perspective: Zoom in for a different look at the same object
4. Design a book cover
5. Use the above to create a portfolio of your workshop works.

Junior Shapes in Nature Badge
1. Identify symmetry in nature
2. Make symmetrical art inspired by nature
3. Create a mandala with symmetry
4. Find fractals in nature
5. Search for the Fibonacci sequence
When you've earned this badge, you'll know about symmetry, fractals, and the Fibonacci
sequence. You'll have identified patterns and shapes in nature.
