SUMMARY:Summer Break: Pop-Up Day Camps
DESCRIPTION:Take part in the creative camps offered throughout the year with SPARK! Dallas Pop-Up Camps. These camps are usually scheduled during school breaks\, and additional dates are added upon request. As a gesture of gratitude\, the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture has paid for the first 20 registrants from select DISD Arts schools who commit to attending all camp days. They get to attend the camp for free! \nOur primary goal is to ignite the SPARK of creativity inherent in all children. Our second goal is to present solid techniques in various materials that develop both skills and spark creative\, outside-the-box problem-solving. We also aim to address every student’s individual needs and learning styles. Campers will return home with several original pieces of their art. \nAll Pop-Up Day Camp Dates:\n\nJune (Summer Break) – 3rd\, 4th\, 5th\, 6th\, and 7th \nMore dates are added throughout the year\, typically during holiday breaks. \nPop-Up Camp Times:\n\n8 AM to 9 AM – $5 Extra per child for Early Drop-Off\n9 AM to 9:30 AM – Open Play/ Doors Open\n9:30 AM to 11 AM – Session 1:\nMovement and music with\nAP\n11 AM to 11:20 AM – Lunch\n11:20 AM to 11:50 AM – Open Play\n11:50 AM to 1:20 PM – Session 2:\nDance with Alondra\n1:20 PM to 2:50 PM – Session 3:\nPuppetry with Omar\n2:50 PM to 3:00 PM – Snack\n3:10 PM to 4:40 PM – Session 4:\nVisual Art with Holly\n4:40 PM – 5 PM – Open Play/Regular Pick-Up\nAfter 5 PM – $5 extra per child for Late Pick-Up\n\nLearn more here.
